Don't sweat the wasps they are nature's natural predators. Wasps have a ferocious appetite for web and bag worms. As you can see by the placement of my hand, they are really not that aggressive. This nest is located at my garage entry door head high. This is the perfect location for them, the warmest and driest in the spring, and protected from the cold in the fall. This gives them a longer life span and more time to protect my property.
Interesting, I've always used a pesticide ( a BIG no no, now that I know, but they still scare me when their nests start to get big near my door way entrances. How do I get rid of them safely. I'm GLAD they eat the bag worms!
